I like the idea of block 8 as a singing block but it's not working most people sitting there aren't singing or joining in chants. Still think it's good to have home fans in block 8 as they are behind our nettie. MK fans were really loud and had lots of different songs, they did their team proud, I know we didn't have much to cheer about but most away fans are louder.

As an away fan, I don't mind the drums ( but agree that every week must be a pain) but I dont think the away fans should be in the next block. I know last season , when booking tickets online Block 6 and 7 (furthest from drums) sold first.
Also, when the Blaze are losing they only drum when the opposing fans start their drums or start to sing. Surely the point to them is to lift the team.

I know this has been brought up hundreds of times before, but I still think the away fans would be better seated in block 1 with the overspill into block 2. I know that would mean moving season ticket holders (which would include me on that side of block 2) and it will never happen because there would be complaints and people saying they won't come again if they have to move seats. The away fans were put in block 8 when that was the only place with nets, so it was the worst view, but they've got them in front of everywhere except centre ice now. Drums should be in the corners, away fans in block 1 and ours in one of the corners at the other end.

The idea of moving away fans to blocks one and two has been raised before, I personally don't have an issue with this, although we have always sat in block one I wouldn't object to moving to another block as I don't think there are any bad viewing seats where ever you sit. I have to say that at every game I have sympathy for fans sitting near block eight, the drums must be deafening, even in block one they sound incredibly loud. Wish we had more big voices that could get the fans singing and we could do with s bit more variety in the chants department.

Remember Block 8 is very small, not many seats here. Our drums have never bothered me a long as I was not sitting next to them or it has it has been most of this season. There was good voice in the skydome this week for 3.5 minutes.
When I am sitting in block 11 the away fans in block 7 always seem louder than ours in Block 8, We need the combined forces of 1-5 & 8 to be effective. Think its just the way the sound travels in the skydome. And as mentioned by many before blaze doesn't rhyme with anything.
I prefer sitting behind the goal in Block 8 as I think it is the best view in the house as long as you are 4 or more rows back.
When I own the blaze after winning the lottery tonight I'll make some changes:)

Funny how we all like different things - I hate being behind the nets (Block 3 centre line)
Like chunk said, block 1 (for me) is the logical place for away fans but we chose not to make that shift when we moved them from block 8 so I suspect it's unlikely to change again in the near future.
Like others, I personally can't stand drumming but from where I sit I don't really think that block 8 is that impactful

IIRC a lot of fans in Block 2 didn't want to move when this was mooted and by going to Block 8 we removed the opposition fans being right behind Stewart when he was in net.
