If Cardiff play to their potential then I can't forsee any points at all. If there are any chinks in their armour then we could maybe scrape something from the home leg
I know it won't affect these games as he got a 3 game ban but releasing Moisio means that we are now effectively one import shy of our full allowance so unless there were behind the scenes issues I'm surprised we let him go without having an inbound signing to replace (hint hint, please...)

Wow what a game and that was just following on Twitter, I would have been thrilled with a point before the game but feel we deserved the 2. Hope we've still got energy for tomorrow night.

Good points are that i thought we played well. 5on5 i think we matched Devils apart from the last tennish mins.
Bad points, Devils were awful yet we played well and still lost. In the 2nd period Devils couldn't string a single pass together yet we didn't capitalise, and i knew it would come back to haunt us.
We were worse on the pp than 5on5, i'm not sure how that's possible.
A point more than i expected but at the end of the first, even though we were 2-1 down i thought we could win so dissapointed at the end. So knowing we had the chances to take 2pts in regulation is just frustrating
Also i expect Paquette to get another ban if Devils ask for his elbow to the head to be reviewed (the ref called nothing).

Well, for me that was a point gained rather than one lost. hopefully we have enough in the tank to give them another run for their money tonight, Cardiff failed to score 5 on 5 last night so stay clear of the sin bin and who knows

Thought we were good for 2 periods then dire in the 3rd. Paquette took the goal well but it looked like a run of the mill save which Natsiuk missed for Fourniers, then awful marking/doing nothing for Asselins back post goal. Then with 3 mins left in our own zone under no pressure, to skate to the only Devil in the zone, panic and roof the puck over the plexi just finished us off.

Winning teams win and that's just what Cardiff did, never really got into their stride but I felt there was a self belief in their play that they would win. Despite lino 77, we had our chances and failed to convert. Too many stupid penalties again (Pietrus should hang his head for that tripping penalty late in P3 - dumb beyond belief)
Thought Pacquette had a great game and was victim to a couple of hits that, on another day, would have been called. Him, Nastiuk and Kloz were my standouts
Unimpressed by our 3 Brits tonight, Ferrara and Venus couldn't find each other in a lit room with walkie-talkies and Clements was just dire, I like him but candidly he's short of good enough in my opinion
Finally - who here would put Venus on D on the 1st line PP? Surely to god (I hope) the answer is no one, no one ever, no one ever ever ever. Last year our pp was "Give it to Godfrey" this year it's "Let's not ice anyone who can shoot from point". We lost a game tonight that we could have won and fundamentally that was down to the coach
