"Boris Valabik, James Isaacs, Michael Quesnele, Cale Tanaka, Carl Lauzon and Brenden Walker will seek new opportunities this summer, leaving Chris Bruton as the only player from the 2015/16 roster with the opportunity to return to Coventry for the new campaign." Source: www.coventryblaze.co.uk/news/pease-thanks-departing-players-20160505The right move in my opinion. I really hope Bruton chooses to stay.

I saw Tanaka as a Stewart type player so whilst I agree that he wasn't as effective last season as we might have wished, I am slightly surprised at his departure. I really liked his tenacity, energy and pace - best of luck to Cale for the future and of course that goes to the others too.
Totally agree with Blaze59, getting Bruton for another year would be quite a coup.

I think keeping Fisher and Godfrey sealed Quesnelle and Tanaka's fate as we need upgrades everywhere else now. Maybe the choice was out of Blaze's hands but i'd have preferred the latter 2

It's sad to see Tanaka go, but I have to think Jordan has kind of took his spot.
