A lot will come down to what Chuck wants from his life and in particular how much time he's prepared to spend away from his family. If he went back to the KHL or North America for example then he'd have to spend considerably more nights away from them than he would in the EIHL. I guess it also depends on if him and his wife are considering adding to the family. Is Chuck travelling to Zagreb with Team GB? If so, we're unlikely to hear anything until they return in two weeks time. I'm fully expecting nothing much to happen until Team GB return. Everyone has been busy with the games in Nottingham and Coventry and now Andy Buxton and Chuck will be off to the WC. Even if someone does sign, I doubt there will be an immediate release

It's very risky signing players if you don't know who your coach is going to be; not all players will fit every coach's system. You don't know the roles and responsibilities you need until the coach is chosen and gives you some indication.
Personally, the longer it takes for a coach to be chosen then the worse next season will be. Of course, the coach could be chosen, just not announced...

This is a video of an interview with Chuck from straight after the playoff final:
He talks a little about next season from around the three minute mark and mentions that he'll be doing the exit meetings (with the players) tomorrow, which would've been Monday the 4th.
If Danny Stewart is lined up to be our next coach then I can't understand why Chuck would be doing the exit interviews. I tend to read too much into things, but to me, this suggests that rumour is wrong.

Exit interviews are held with all players regardless of if they are returning or not. That seasons coach would be the one to do it regardless of if they return or not.

Isn't it a bit of a pointless exercise to have a coach thats not coming back doing an exit interview with a player that isn't coming back either?

Guessing it a cheers for the effort type thing more than anything sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_daddy/post/bourne-blog-how-to-survive-the-awkward-exit-interview?urn=nhl,wp10526

I would think feedback from players ,be it positive or negative is a good thing for a coach to hear ,knowledge is power.

I had to laugh when Seth Bennett said on Radio 5LSX, "Bosas is looking at this game as a shop window for the EIHL.... I think he can forget that now!"

Neither did Guthrie the season before we signed him You are discounting the 14 league and 8 play off games he played then??
