There's an announcement today at 12:30.
What would you want to see announced, what do you think might be announced?

Hopefully a great signing.
Cousins who have spent the last 2 seasons together in ECHL and some time in previous seasons in the AHL together.
A pair who can come in with chemistry already there will hopefully jump start us

Well, our top 6 was struggling for chemistry, so bringing in a ready made line makes a lot of sense. One thing's for sure, it's an impressive response from the club.
How this works out for the other 4 players on those lines depends on who Stewart chooses as his centres. Eliteprospects has both of the new players as wingers, but from the highlights in that article, it looks like Syner is a centre? If he is then playing them alongside Marquardt could make a lot of sense, seeing as neither of them have height on their side.
Marquardt - Syner - Almeida Bergman - Robinson - Pietrus Venus - Cowley - Tait Klotz - Davies - Stewart
There's a lot of scoring depth there.

I really hope they are in for this weekend as we ideally need 6 from 6 at the very least 4 from 6.

Firstly, well played Blaze. Top 6 were clearly struggling so it's good to see the management team have stepped up and done something positive.
Don't think Bombis can complain. Looked to have bags of skill but zero presence and being honest, he was my no. 1 to go - I think we needed a lot more impact that we actually got. I was really excited by him in the preseason but when the season started proper he just didn't deliver enough. Carnevale may feel a little hard done by unless there was some off ice stuff to take into account, he'd only played a handful of games but then again was on 0+3 and right now we need goals. Syner and Almeida clearly come as a pair so we had to release Bombis +1 and Carnevale was probably the logical choice for the +1
So - onwards and hopefully upwards. Welcome to Coventry gents, here's hoping you have a pretty immediate impact. We certainly need you to.

Happy to see us make another change, nice to know that management are still winning to invest in the club and aren't just settling for a below average team. Looking at the some of the highlights they don't seem to have any difficulties scoring (as of yet) and will hopefully provide us with a bit more than Bombis could. Unsure as to if Carnevale should've been released so soon, but I suppose he was the easy choice, as none of our other four look too out of place at the moment, best of luck the pair of them.
From a brief look on eliteprospects, Almeida seems to be getting a mixture of goals and assists, whereas Syner looks to be getting more assists. Though they're both on more goals than any of our guys will be getting. I like to think they'll be helping our powerplay a lot, especially as they've been together for a while they should be able to find each other across the ice a little easier.
Good luck to the lot of them, hopefully they can bring us what we're so sorely missing.

Great that bombis has gone, and like others say if you had to pick a plus one it would have to be carnevale as Robinson finally got a goal which will hopefully start him off again. I still think we are desperate for a d with size, who he would come in for I wouldn't be sure though

I think Robinson needs to start lighting the lamp a lot more very soon or he will be next out the door.

We said that last season too. I don't rate him we carried him until Christmas last season are we waiting for him to wake up again? I suspect he saved himself by scoring in Nottingham.

I'm not a fan of Robinson, he's too weak to warrant a place if I were to be signing. But he is proven to be able to score goals for us when we needed him to last season, hopefully he's holding out on us and is ready to get back to that sooner rather than later. Saying that, he's my next to go if we decide we need another forward.
Defensively I'm happy-ish, I'd like a little more force in front of our own net, but if we went the season without any changes I wouldn't be too disappointed either, I'd replace Boutin simply because he seems to be doing a similar job to Jorgensen, just with some more mistakes thrown into the mix.
