I can't attend - was wondering whether anyone on this forum was planning to go and if so whether they'd care to post thought / comments / recollections here.
I think that it has the makings of a lively evening ....

I think it's quite a brave move by the Blaze at this stage of the season with us sitting firmly at the bottom of the table, I just hope someone is there to push beyond the same every interview comments that Danny etc make week in week out and hope someone can post on here how it goes, unless there is a YouTube video of the session.

Do you think they will offer any real answers to the questions we would like to ask? We should run a sweep on how many times 'we should be as good as we can be' is said.

I sincerely hope they don't do that. I think that it's a brave move by the club - not saying the audience will be hostile but they will clearly be unhappy and expecting answers. If the club genuinely believe "steady as she goes" is the right track then this is their chance to explain why so. If they just offer anodyne comments and empty rhetoric then the audience will leave more unhappy than they arrived and the event will have failed.
I hope we do get open, honest and insightful debate. As with wooly and hidehi, I am expecting much, much more than a few soundbites

I wonder if they have judged the mood amongst the fan-base correctly? I imagine those who travelled to Scotland are pretty hostile (I know I am). Sunday hurt arguably more than that weekend though as we were treated to a fantastic period then had to watch an abject collapse and listen to those self congratulatory fan-boys chanting about how great they are as fans even though at 3-1 down they were silent as that mortuary they went on to talk about so often. If they are not going to be candid with their answers there is no point in them doing this. I get the feeling someone has become aware of the serious discontent amongst fans and decided they have to do something to placate us...and all we will get is fobbed off with soundbites.
If anyone is attending, please ask Pease what his level of contribution and accountability are and why his continuation (in whatever his role is) is justified. I think the whole club needs streamlining. we seem to have so many off ice staff (presumably on wages) and I can't help but wonder if the money would be better re-allocated to the playing side? Is it time to go down the player-coach route? In the current conference set-up we cannot compete with the clubs we play most often in terms of resources so should we be spending what we have more wisely? The club has commendably put huge effort into the match night experience and sponsorship etc and I think this is why crowds have not dropped off significantly yet but are we running to stand still?

I can't attend on Thursday, but have emailed in a few questions. I'd advise anyone who can't attend to do the same. It's a chance for us as fans to get our voices heard - the more people asking the same questions, the more likely we are to get answers.

From what I'm reading sounds like same old crap we've heard before and no real answers.

Don't know what the format will be but Blaze have tweeted that a summary of the forum discussion will be made available

It was announced last night that there will be a summary on the website. The questions that had been posed were grouped into topics so that similar questions or those on the same theme were asked at the same time. The second half was a little more open Q&A with other questions asked from the floor.
Rob did announce that James Pease instigated the event as he wanted to be able to talk with the fans and also for the fans to be able to put their views across. As well as the four speakers, Andy and Mike were also there.

As well as the four speakers, Andy and Mike were also there. That's good. I'm glad all levels of the club were represented. How was the atmosphere - did everyone leave happy?

Only stayed for about 45 mins as it was very much IMO "same old same old" we seem to have a plan but its clearly not working. Danny speaks some sense and he should be given time to sort it out IMO. Peasey said he is helping out as assistant coach as we cant afford a full time one. Find it hard that we can change players but maybe if we had a full time assistant coach we would not need to change the players so often.
Fair play to Peasey putting himself forward to take flack, but really Mike Cowley and Andy Buxton should be the ones facing the fans. (not sure of they answered any questions after we left)
