Sadly I'm not expecting anything other than a zero point return over the two games. Think it's more a case of damage limitation than anything else.

Oops, I didn't even realise we had games this week! As I write this we're 1-0 up thanks to a PP goal from Klotz, does anyone know if he was stood in front of the net? I feel he's not utilised enough on the PP as nobody would even dream of pushing him out of the netminder's LoS.
Honestly though I think we need take these games as a chance to compare ourselves to a much better team in a realistic manner, they're clearly better than us so any points we can get would be a nice bonus, but I'd like to see a good PP conversion % and a tighter defence, along with maybe 4 or 5 goals over the 6 periods.
I hope we can do ourselves proud at the least, I'm not looking for points but for a performance to make up for our game against Belfast, we were a tad embarrassing and I think the fans are owed some retribution, especially offensively. Optimistically I have a feeling we wont be entirely blown away though.

Well stealing candy from a baby comes to mind. Abject performance and yet again no goals from our top 6. I know we will not keep pace with the rest of our conference but we really must aspire to be better than this - a solitary goal on the pp scored by a 4th liner. That's all we can muster?
Really looking forward to tomorrow, can't wait. Haven't decided whether to turn up or not, bit like this shambles of a team.

There's not winning and then there's not even competing. Conceding 6 goals in 2 periods, with 2 pairs of goals scored within 60 seconds of each other.
We had a mini win streak but it was all vs the other conference. When we lose within our own it feels like it's written off too easy as 'well they spend more than us'

Game time looms large. Have decided to venture forth, here's hoping the Blaze do too. Not anticipating any points (but 1 or 2 would be a lovely early Christmas present, hint hint) - a non capitulation would be my expectation tonight.
Come on Blaze, give us something to cheer about

That must be one of the easiest road wins in the history of the elite league, and the steelers hardly got out of first gear. Feel sorry for Venus, Bergmann, Noble who give 100% every shift. Hard to blame Danny Stewart when he's stuck with these talentless and lazy players. But wish he'd give Klotz more ice time, although that's not going to improve results much Klotz deserves it. Bring on the Devils then!!!!!

Dear lord but that was turgid. We've now scored 2 goals in 9 periods of hockey and look absolutely clueless skating forwards. Unlike bsp I blame Danny 100%, he signed this squad and despite 3 player changes we're no better. Klotz gets very little ice time (despite being our only goal scorer last night), Robinson is a waste of a pair of skatea, Marquardt is no better and the Pietrus goal drought shows no sign of abating. Thought that Jorgenson and Godfrey both played really well as did Cowley who I would ice ahead of Cantin, even if Cantin was fit.
Devils home and away, then Panthers the same. Right now, I can't see any points in the offing.
Well done Danny, you've done what I thought was impossible - created a worse team than the dross we had last season.
