Have to agree - think we will extend our 5 game losing streak to 7 by end of 2016. Hoping against hope to be proved wrong but Panthers' recent form would suggest we're unlikely to get very much other than a tonking.
Thinking of giving Klotz some writing paper and envelopes so for the vast periods of time Danny wonders what on earth to do next whilst leaving him on the bench rather than playing him, he could write a letter home.....

Imagine a team composed of the Keystone Cops coached by Mr Bean. You don't know exactly what's going to happen only that it will be disastrous ....
They played another 20-25 mins of hockey in a 60 min game against an eminently beatable Panthers side. Just too painful to watch them right now. A team that will conspire to lose game in game out

Another disappointing performance ! The powerplay was poor and there is virtually no physical presence in this team - oh for the days of Olson & Egner. In Klotz we have one of the toughest players in the league but hardly ever use him as an enforcer or someone to rally the team or fans. Robinson is playing like he might not score again - although to be fair so do most of the forwards - we can only dream of Ryan Ginand.Sadly most of what appears to be going wrong would have to be blamed on Danny Stewart - tactics or lack of them and also the players in the squad. However I don't know if changing the coach would make much difference. Finally are there any players in this squad that people would like back next year ?

Godfrey / Jorgensen / Klotz / Noble - yes I'd retain Syner / Almeida - probably keep would just like to see a little more of them to be sure they really can play at this level game on game Bergman - headache - can't decide, sublime but comes up short The rest can go, as afar as Robinson and Marquardt are concerned, the sooner the better
My most ardent wish however would be to see us sack the sorry pair of Pease and D. Stewart. They are 100% to blame for the state we're in and lack the experience to get us out of it

This is Stewarts first season as a head coach and although he's not inspired confidence I think any coach deserves at least 2 seasons to prove his worth. And who could do any better? However Pease has to be sacked, he's had almost every job at the club and failed at all of them.

Oh - totally agree about the British pair, I had limited my replies to imports only - on that vein I'd keep Ben too.

Stewart. They are 100% to blame for the state we're in and lack the experience to get us out of it Syner and Almeida are head and shoulders the best players on this team. Noble and Jorgensen have taken huge dips this season. Their commitment can't be questioned but performance wise I can't see they have stood out. Brit wise we are really struggling. Tait and Cowley are aging and this shows in that they can not change a game anymore. Clements is worth keeping and Ben Davies massively worth keeping however I wouldn't retain Venus. He has not a lot of offensive side and isn't a fantastic defensive player either. I fear he is only retained as we have for years now not found new brits, Davies aside, to come in to the side. As for the rest of the imports Liam Stewart is a definite keep for me, Klotz is worth keeping if given opportunity to actually do his job, the rest however can all go. Even Pietrus whilst giving 100% is not the same player as last season.

Well played Coventry - 60 minutes of hockey and bingo, we get the win
I had predicted a fairly pedestrian win for Panthers going into the game and ecstatic to be proved wrong. Hopefully we can use this as a spring board for more success in 2017

Did someone show Robinson his P45 before the game? Can still give it him as far as I'm concerned. Don't get me wrong happy he scored 2 big goals tonight but it's too little to late.

Will wait until we see some persistent performance until i celebrate too much. We're still miss much more than hit but then seem to glorify the victories like great achievements

We're still miss much more than hit but then seem to glorify the victories like great achievements amen to that. one win every several games is nothing to get excited about. I am more concerned with how we are managing to lose games when we have been a couple of goals up going into or during the third period. Not to take anything away from the guys, that's a great result to get in nottingscum. especially with the kick in the nuts of conceding an equaliser with 4 secs left.
