So what do we reckon?
All 3 teams have a reason why the game is important so there should be no quarter given by anyone. If Cardiff are on form then I don't see anything tonight bar no points. Hopefully we should be strong enough on our ice to take the win and if we play smart, hopefully it will be in regulation time too

Thinking of buying the webcast tonight, when Cardiff played in the BBT, whilst I liked the commentary I thought the camera angles were poor. Anyone seen it since their move to the new arena?

I wouldn't bet against four points this weekend, we seem to have had the better of Cardiff this year and hopefully the pattern holds true another night, though they are a better team than us and the points are crucial for them to get. Right now Cardiff have a six and seven point lead over Sheffield and Belfast, all with 43 games played, though Cardiff have to play both teams twice before the end of the season. If I was putting in a guess I'd say Sheffield to win it, they look to have a slightly easier run in and the two games they have against Cardiff are at home.
I'm hoping the two points against Manchester will be relatively easy for us to take, they seem to be having a lot of difficulties recently and I think our recent form should be enough to end that one quite neatly, though as with every team if we underestimate them we will lose.
Maybe it's just me but I'm personally quite happy with how the Blaze have been recently, a few blunders here and there and our discipline has been a crayon's width above abysmal, but overall I feel we're finally a team worth watching... Shame there's only three games left. Always next season.
tl;dr: Hopefully we'll get four, Cardiff are far from winning the league yet despite their lead, my guess would be Sheffield. Blaze are finally mediocre.

Odds are 1/5 and 11/2, no prizes for guessing which way round they go, slightly higher than I was expecting them to be if I'm honest, maybe they know something I don't Or I'm biased by our game against Edinburgh. Or I've been hit on the head and lost the plot. Who knows

Webcast is a lot better in the new barn, although the commentary is as excitable as ever and they still seem to have to wait for "the guys in the van" to get a replay. Loads easier to see the action though, the camera's actually in a sensible position.

We were lucky to get no goals and luckier still to finish as high as second. Totally one sided, Marr left hung out to dry to the same extent as Stewart and a clueless, clueless, clueless, inept and pitiful performance from a team with a clueless, inept and pitiful coaching staff. I suspect DS will say that we played well for the first x muins (x = 2 for me) but he's not paid to be an analyst, he's paid to be our coach and in that regard he's been woeful.
Best thing for the Blaze is to finish 9th and get mgmt and owners in a room for a day to decide what they do next year to fix this absolute car crash of a season. If that future involves Pease or DS (and of course it will) then I suspect I'm going to be as disappointed next season as I have been this.

We got 2 overtime wins in 10 games, lost all 4 league home games and generally were outplayed in every game! If you are 'personally happy' with the Blaze performance I seriously worry for you. We have been poor at best all season and has been the most clueless inept spineless team ive ever seen and then the coaching is of the worst level ive witnessed.

What was the coach saying in the post match interview last night. Are the players not listening to him, was that what was said. Sure seemed like that to me.

How we managed to snatch 2 pts is beyond me, for 50 mins we stank. If I were a Storm player, I'd be scratching my head as to how we managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I'll take the points thank you very much but lordy, lordy we need to be more cohesive than this.
All in all, a pretty poor weekend, right now I couldn't care less whether we qualify for the play offs or not, I'm much more concerned about our ability to put together a competitive team next season

We were so lucky to only be one down, but once we got to overtime I was pretty confident we'd get two points, just because of the Storm's awful record in OT.
