Bit of a lottery right now trying to predict points as we're so inconsistent, so middle for diddle - 2 points out of the weekend

nil points. 2 teams hungrier than us one of which has already spanked us twice. the side that dismantled Sheffield and Belfast a few weeks back seems to have gone missing. *sigh*

Well that was a pleasant surprise. Too many penalties (yet again) for my liking but either poor pp on their part or terrific pk on ours nullified that. DS and team should be happy with that win and hopefully we can push on to make this a 4pt weekend....

Glad we got the win and hopefully some confidence for tonight.

From bottom of the conference on Saturday morning to 2nd tonight. Best win % in the conference (3 out of 4) and 2 points behind Storm with 4 games in hand.
Still can't say i'm convinced by this team but at least the tables look better.

Does anyone know what happened when MK players left the ice. We heard a rumour that a fan punched Nickerson.

From what i've seen on twitter the rumours have come from people who didn't see what happened and the people who did see have said it was rubbish and nothing happened, apart from a blaze fan being a tit.

Ok thanks, I didn't think he would have been punched, gotta love the rumour mill.

I left as soon as Blaze scored their 5th. Good 3rd period, as much as he annoys me I am again impressed with Noble. He is constantly on the go/talking to guys on the ice.
Boy!! Those drums are annoying !! 😊

Those drums are annoying !! 😊 Noble gets a lot of stick but he is a grafter, he doesn't stop talking to guys and often puts himself on the line. This season even more so.

Great start to the game and end. Must get Skylounge tickets as all of the action seems to take place at that end. My only concern is the Blaze looked as if they were a different team in the second period, glad they pulled it around.
Thank heavens for goal line tech. I was yards away and coldn't tell if the goal had come off before the shot had been taken. (On both occasions)
Can't go to MK next week realy wanted to see if Nickerson can make it through without being chucked.

Blaze looked to be trying to snatch a magnificent defeat from the jaws of victory, thanks for the points but after that 1st period we were pretty ugly and I hope DS isn't too happy. If the entire crowd each donated £100 and the whole sum was given to Courchaine, he still wouldn't be able to buy a goal .....
Hicks was poor overall, as the game went on and the play became more desperate and chippy, he let way too much late and off puck activity go unaddressed and we were lucky that Nickerson's post game nonsense didn't escalate into something more serious.
If a Blaze fan was behaving in an aggressive manner as the players skated off then a) I hope that the stewards dealt with it and b) mgmt ban him/her if appropriate. Players (even daft ones) should not be subjected to threatening behaviour by fans
All in all - I'll take the points but personally I think we only have two tier 1 olayers right now (Kloz / Vallerand) a couple of tier 2's, the bulk are tier 3, a couple of passengers and a dead weight. As the season progresses, we will get caught out more and more and I would like to see some changes

Breezer Net was off well before the goal, we were talking about it just before the puck went in, also MK had a player in the crease but not sure if this was looked at.

Whilst I agree with the latter part of your post. It was highlighted that the camera offered a better angle of view than Tom Darnell had the benefit of. Therefore as they said from his sight line it was correct. It was good I thought that DOPS iterated that point. About time there was some support for the refs when it was warranted.

Hi Scott, maybe it as the way I wrote my comment, I wasn’t blaming the ref, just stating the resultant fact from DOPS, we won by a good margin, so losing Dax didn’t change the result.
