Well, triple away header up in Scotland this weekend, I'd be hoping for six but expecting around 3 or 4, especially with our new blood.
We managed to scrape two points from four last weekend (unfortunately the wrong two if you ask me) against tougher teams than we're facing this weekend, though we're away for all three nights, lots of travelling and not long between the games. I'd expect two from Dundee, none from Fife, and one or two from Edinburgh depending on how tired we are and which teams turn up.
As has been repeated time after time, this season any team is capable of taking points off any other, it's quite an unpredictable league this season (the bookies seem to be struggling too) and the Blaze have to be one of the most unpredictable teams within it. I'd like to see our new pairing picking some juicy points up, perhaps five over the three games between the two of them? Though I'd also like to see us maintain our points from Stewart, the brits and the defence, and for Stewie to maintain his recent form. If it all goes to plan we could be looking at six, yet we could also be looking at nothing if things don't bounce our way.

As per usual I wouldn't be my house on any particular outcome - 6 is as likely as 0 with the Blaze, anything above 3 is probably a bonus but we'll see.
Has anyone any experience of webcasts by the Scottish teams - think I saw a Dundee game last season and thought the camera was a bit off but the commentary was good but don't know about Fife or Edinburgh?

I think 4 from 6 is a realistic aim. You have to be taking points from the teams below/around you in the standings, which means getting wins at Dundee and Edinburgh. Fife would be nice as well but it's tough to win all 3 - most teams don't manage it when they go up for a Scottish weekend. As stated above, you can make a case for the Blaze winning all or none of the games!
The madness of the league this season is that a couple of wins this weekend could put us in the top half of the table.

I think a huge amount will depend on the start we get off to on Friday. Win that game and I can see us getting on a roll and getting 4+ points, but if we lose then I can see us sliding to 2 or less.
We tend to be pretty rubbish on these trips, but hopefully it'll be different this time as it's another massive weekend for the club and we could be anywhere between 4th and dead last afterwards, depending on how the results go. If it goes well then it will take a lot of pressure off everyone.
A lot might depend on the kind of shape the new players are in. Playing 3-in-3 is always going to be hard, but it must be worse when you've only played competitively for 3 games this season and the last one was over 6 weeks ago.

Feel for the new guys. Arrive, ice, long coach trip, 3 games in 3 days, another long trip home. If they survive that with a smile at the end they'll have done ok

Odds tonight are Dundee 11/10 whereas Coventry are 7/5. Dundee are favourites, yet only by a small margin, and I think I'm leaning the same way..

Can I ask the question that when Tait is on the bench we have been winning? Is it he is a more positive influence on our defense?

Can't pretend I watched the game, but what a disappointing result that was, essentially a 5-0 game with our only goal being from a penalty shot with less than 5 minutes left, it's humiliating. Any opinions on the new guys? More of the same or a pairing ready to ignite any day? Hoping for the latter but expecting the first. Giving them the benefit of the doubt as they only just arrived and it's their first few games. Struggling to believe that our only goal was scored by a Brit on a penalty shot mind, we're really suffering upfront and if these two can't kick us into gear then I don't think anything will. Many worries on their minds tonight I imagine.

Apart from the new guys it was good to see the other top 4 free scoring players step up and keep it respectable whilst our finely honed D once again kept it tight at the back. If being sub mediocre was an art form we'd be a team of Damien Hirst's.

Odds for tonight are 5/6 and doubles, no clues as to which way round...

Put them all on the coach now and send them home, give a group of fans sticks and skates at least they have a bit of pride.

We concede 3 goals in 10 shots in P1 and then manage to cough up a 3 on 5 SH goal in P2, seriously, you couldn't mak it up
I thought Blaze's Thommo team signed 11-12 was a low, last year's squad was lower still, but to quote, "The thick of it", this is an omnishambles, can't score, cant defend, as useless an on ice package as you could ever (not) hope to see.
Sadly I think it's proper inquest time for Coventry and mgmt either need to be sack DS, set some minimum expectations, or, if he has their confidence(?), then we need a significant no. of roster changes
About as low a time for the Blaze as I can recollect, a real shambles

Is Klotz now our highest scoring forward? Those two new players must wonder what they have signed up to!

The problems seem much much deeper than just Danny.

The answer can't be the coach we've had Matty, Marc, Chuck and now Danny and been garbage with all, it must be something else, wether that's management or something else I wish I knew but maybe players need to be honest and say what they think the problem is. I feel if we had the worlds top scorer that if he came here he wouldn't score.

Danny Stewart's had more resources than any of the previous coaches. He's made four personnel changes, including bringing in a GB international. Our team is not performing anywhere near the standard that they should be. Look at the CVs of our squad and there's no way we should be losing to Dundee - there are no excuses for that. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, DS should go. We made a mistake in thinking that Chuck had finished the much needed overhaul of our off ice operations and believing that bringing in yet another ex-player with some coaching experience and a connection to the club would be successful.
We've won the same 7 in 23 as Chuck won at the start of last season, we've scored less and conceded less, so you can't even say it's been more exciting. Last season our budget had to cover a continental cup trip and that always has a negative effect on league form - just look at Nottingham this year. We need a real coach again (I'd have Chuck back in a heartbeat) or we need to try the player coach route, because at the moment whatever we're spending on Danny is being wasted. We aren't getting any better game on game, we look like we're getting worse to me - where's the process? Our defence is poor, yet we've made no personnel or even line changes - I just don't understand that. We've made four personnel and countless line changes to the forwards and what has that achieved? Nothing.
We have a good squad of players, but they're not being helped at the moment and we're not playing to their strengths. Marquardt's playing off his preferred wing, just like Bombis was. Bergman's being played with a left shot centre (Robinson) once again, even though it didn't work at the start of the season and after finding success with a right shot one (Carnevale - who we gassed). Our two new players must wonder what the hell they've signed up for.

Now 9th and just 2 points ahead of Edinburgh who hold 3 games in hand. Can't say I'm even remotely optimistic but lordy oh lordy if ever we need some guys to stand up and be counted this game is it
