In other news, the management have had Marmite dispensers installed in all blocks!

Oh joy. He's back. Hope to hell we've halved his wages seeing as he only ever bothers to play half a season

"Fantastic hockey player" is not the way I would choose to describe him. I was really hoping we'd improve on him, but oh well. Both chuck and Stewart seemed to love him, he's obviously a "coaches player"; doesn't really do anything wrong, it's just he doesn't really anything full stop. Pease and Stewart continue to fill me with such confidence...

He must have compromising pictures of the coach and management. Why else would they sign him again. Total waste of an import

Echo the above comments. He needed releasing and improving upon however Stewart clearly making stats up to suit his opinion. Turns up for 4 months out of 14 and we are expected to be overjoyed.

Whilst the comments here are generally unfavourable, on twitter I have seen a more enthusiastic response so Fleece's "marmite" comment seems spot on.
Clearly, I am not (yet) a fan and remain of the view that this is a poor signing. That said, I genuinely do wish him every success this year and I'd much rather be proved wrong next April than having the opportunity to say, "Well, I told you so...."
Given the scale of the squad changes this year, having some returning players who understand Coventry is a prerequisite I guess and he should help in that regard. Overall my genuine wish is for my fears to be proved unfounded and for Robinson to repay the faith that has been invested in him.

Keefe-esque? or a Harvey type maybe (if so I hope he he shows some self discipline). Don't know why but just not really feeling it with this signing, sure he'll crash and bang but there's plenty out there who can do that so my initial feeling is maybe a fan favourite but nothing special
Think we need some forwards a bit taller than 6'. Just saying ......

Why have we signed him? Last season we had the best fighter in the league and he never got on the ice. I hope he likes watching the game from the bench.

Looks like a good signing to me. Klotz could fight but didn't contribute many points. This guy can fight but should also be good for 15-20 goals plus more assists on top. A proper power forward player rather than just a 1 demensional fighter.

Without signing Harvey ill take this as the next best thing. Many people criticised Harvey but he was entertaining, scored goals and was highly effective on the powerplay. If Paquette can replicate this im very happy.

Not entirely sure Lake has a lot to offer us, statistically very mediocre. Looks like he'll just be adding more oomph to a team that needs more skill

On paper i think he'll be better than Stewart and probably cheaper. Still waiting for some big bucks to be spent.

He is Stewarts replacement and I think will do a better job. The remaining forwards will be the top 3 skill and points guys.

Being completely honest, the only signing / re-signing we've made so far that has actually made me smile has been Dingle, with Ferrara in second place. Everything else screams mediocre to me, looking forward not just to some skill up front but also some body mass.

I am genuinely despairing of Blaze fans right now. We have still to sign the top 3 forwards and defense and netminder yet all we get is 'looks mediocre' and 'not size etc' The season starts in August lets judge it then instead of all crying now.

Not crying, just passing comment on what I've seen so far. Of course if you want a forum that says nothing at all during the close season ....
